(DE) Construction on Lawrence Dr.
Those living on Lawrence Drive (including myself) will have noticed a lot of (de)construction near the corner of Lawrence Drive and Ardmore.
Apparently they were inspecting the gas line there (supposedly placed around 1956) and found enough anomalies to begin tearing up all the trees and earth from Lawrence down to North Five Mile.
They've apparently found some pitting and other wear that they "said" wasn't especially serious, but that they are going to replace anyway.
The completely demolished the land between the two houses there (my condolences to the neighbors dealing with the destruction, noise, crewmen, etc.).
That's about all I was able to glean from one of the foremen today. anyone else have any more information?
