An invitation to discuss proposals for changes in elementary and secondary school attendance boundaries.


Your Opinions Wanted!
Results of study by volunteer citizens committe and proposals for elementary and secondary school boundary changes to be discussed at two workshops.

The Mead Citizens Boundary Review Planning Committee is interested in receiving public input on possible school boundary change proposals. The district's Board of Directors appointed the Advisory Citizens Committee to study and recommend adjusted student attendance boundaries based on the opening of the new elementary school and residential growth impacts on secondary school attendance boundaries.

Community Workshop Schedule
  • Mount Spokane High school Atrium
    6015 East Mount Spokane Park Drive
    Tuesday, May 9th, 2006 - 7:00 p.m.
  • Northwood Middle School Gymnasium
    13120 North Pittsburg
    Wednesday, May 10th, 2006, 7:00 p.m.
You are invited to attend either of the two workshops listed above where the following information will be presented and discussed:
  • Attendance Boundary Considerations
  • Present and Projected Enrollment
  • Elementary and Secondary Boundary Change Proposals


Following the community workshops, the Committee will consider your comments as it prepares it's recommendations to the Mead School Board for their consideration.
Boundary changes would not take place until the 2007-2008 school year.


Committee members encourage and appreciate the interaction with, and comments from, parents and interested public on these boundary issues. your ideas are important to the committee as it formulates it's recommendations.
